Billy Row Mates is competing in the World's Toughest Row 2026, rowing 3000 miles across the Atlantic from The Canary Islands to Antigua in the Caribbean. After trying, and failing, to convince any of his friends to join him, Dave decided to go it alone, and Billy Row Mates was born.
Who is Billy Row Mates?
Dave has a history of making ill-thought out decisions, having previously made spur-of-the-moment commitments to ultra marathons, Ironman triathlons, the Marathon des Sables, and a ten year career in the Army. After coming through all of those relatively unscathed, he decided to really push the limits with this latest adventure.
